It was reported yesterday, Friday, October 18, 2013 that the Holgate Marina will be dredging soon and that the 15,000 cubic yards of sand that they will be removing will be taken to Beach One.

In a conversation with the Holgate Marina, it was verified that AshBritt will begin dredging starting on Oct. 24th or 25th. This is certainly good news to help protect the remaining dune and get us through the next six months until the replenishment project begins.
